How free book pickup works
No mystery to it. Here is every step, including the parts most services leave vague.
You send a request
The pickup form takes about two minutes. The only things we really need are a rough count, your ZIP code and a phone number. If you would rather talk, call or text 813-586-0766.
We check the count and the area
Thirty books is the minimum for a pickup. We cover Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough. If you are under the minimum or just outside the line, we will say so straight away and point you at the drop-off option instead of leaving you waiting.
We reply the same business day
You get a real reply from a person with a firm date. Pinellas and west Pasco run Mondays, Hillsborough and the rest of Pasco run Wednesdays.
You get the books together, or not
Boxed is easier, but shelves are fine. For big jobs we bring boxes. You do not have to carry anything outside.
We load
Fifteen minutes for a normal household load. A few hours for a whole library. We take the whole lot rather than picking through and leaving you the leftovers.
Sorting happens at our end
Back at the office everything is sorted. What can be sold is listed online. The rest is handled as described on what happens to your books.
What it costs
Nothing. There is no fuel charge, no per-box fee, no minimum spend and nothing to sign. We are paid by reselling the books that have resale value, which is why we ask for thirty books before we make the drive.
Do you have to be there?
No. People leave boxes on covered porches, in unlocked garages, with condo front desks and with neighbors. Put the arrangement in the notes box on the form and we will confirm it in writing before we come.
Which day we come to you
We run fixed weekly routes. That is a large part of how pickup can be free, and it means you get a real date instead of a vague window.

The reply comes the same business day. If you are working to a closing date, a move-out or an estate deadline, tell us on the form. We will either fit you into the right run or tell you straight away that we cannot make it, rather than leaving you waiting.
What if some of it is not usable?
That is normal and it is our problem, not yours. Every collection has some water-damaged or worn items. We only ask you to hold back the things on the cannot take list, especially anything moldy, because that can spoil everything it travels with.
