We are book resellers. The good stuff we sell, and that is what funds the free pickup. The rest goes to our $1 community sale, Little Free Libraries, children's wards and Friends of the Library bookstores. See the whole journey.

Fill in the short form or call. We need a rough count, your ZIP code and anything tricky about getting to the books.
We confirm a day
You hear back the same business day. Pinellas and west Pasco run Mondays, Hillsborough and the rest of Pasco run Wednesdays, so you get a firm date rather than a vague window.
We load and go
We bring the muscle and, for larger jobs, the boxes. You do not have to lift anything or be home if you would rather not be.
Or drop them off, any weekday
You do not need 30 books and you do not need an appointment. Bring whatever you have to the office and we will help you carry it in. Honestly, this is the easiest option for most people, and we would rather see you than not.

What to expect
- No minimum. One bag or twenty boxes, both are fine.
- No appointment. Turn up during opening hours.
- We unload for you. Pull up and someone will come out.
- No sorting needed. Bring it as it is.
- Two minutes. You will not be kept waiting.
Give your books a second life
Most people call us because they cannot face putting a lifetime of reading out with the recycling. They should not have to. Every box we collect is opened and sorted by hand.
Titles with a buyer waiting are cleaned up and sold, and that revenue is exactly what pays for a free pickup. It is also why we are worth calling: a bookseller going through your shelves spots the things that are actually worth something, where a general junk hauler would not. A great deal of the rest lands on the tables at our monthly community book sale for a dollar.
That sale raises money for the Friends of South Holiday Library and the Friends of the Clearwater Library System. Contribute to community book sales that support libraries, and your old shelves turn into cheap books for a neighbor and funding for a local branch.

MaxX Multi Media has worked with more than twenty Florida library and Friends of the Library groups since 2024. The business grew out of volunteering: our founder built the eBay store for East Lake Community Library, and the Friends groups kept asking whether he could do the same for them. We sponsored the Florida Library Association's 2026 Annual Conference.
That background is the reason we are careful. Library people are particular about where their discards end up, and they talk to each other. Your twelve boxes get the same handling as a library's pallet.

We cover all of Pasco, Pinellas and Hillsborough County. These are the areas we drive to most often.
Common questions
Is pickup really free?
Yes. There is no charge, no fuel fee and no minimum spend. We make our money on the books that are worth selling, which is what makes the trip pay for itself rather than costing you anything.
How many books do I need for a pickup?
At least 30. Below that the drive costs more than the books are worth, so we ask you to drop them off instead at 5266 State Road 54 in New Port Richey, Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm.
What day will you come?
We run fixed weekly routes, so it depends where you are.
- Mondays: all of Pinellas County, plus west Pasco meaning Trinity and west
- Wednesdays: all of Hillsborough County, plus central and east Pasco such as Land O' Lakes and Wesley Chapel
We reply the same business day with the next date that works. If you are up against a closing or a move-out, say so on the form and we will tell you honestly whether we can make it.
What happens to the books after you take them?
They get sorted. The ones with resale value are listed online and sold. The rest are handled as described on our what happens to your books page, which covers our community book sale, Little Free Libraries, hospital wards and Friends of the Library bookstores.
Do you take everything in the box, or do you pick through it?
For pickups we take the whole lot, so you are not left with the leftovers. The only exception is the short list on our what we cannot take page, and mold is the one we are strict about.
Do I have to be home?
No. Plenty of people leave boxes on a covered porch, in a garage with the code, or with a front desk. Tell us the arrangement in the notes box on the form and we will confirm it.
