How pickups work in Largo
We are in Largo every Monday
Largo is on the Monday Pinellas route. We run fixed weekly routes so several pickups in one area go on the same trip, which is a large part of how we keep pickup free. Send your request before Monday and you are usually on that week’s run.
Largo and the surrounding parts of mid-Pinellas have one of the highest concentrations of 55+ and manufactured home communities in the state. Most of our work here is downsizing, and a lot of it is helping families deal with a collection built over forty years.
Neighborhoods and areas we collect from
Belleair, Belleair Bluffs, Indian Rocks Beach, Seminole, Pinellas Park, East Largo, Harbor Bluffs, Ridgecrest, and everywhere else inside Pinellas County.
ZIP codes covered: 33770, 33771, 33773, 33774, 33777, 33778, 33779
Give your books a second life
Books you have finished with in Largo do not get thrown in a skip. Every box is opened and sorted by hand by people who sell books for a living, which is how anything genuinely worth something gets spotted rather than binned. A great deal of the rest lands on the tables at our monthly community book sale, priced at a dollar so local people actually take it home.
That sale raises money for South Holiday Library and the Clearwater Library System. So a shelf you have cleared in Largo turns into cheap books for a neighbor and funding for a local library. That is the whole idea: contribute to community book sales that support libraries, rather than watching a lifetime of reading go out with the recycling.

Largo questions
My parent is moving into assisted living and cannot help. Can I arrange it for them?
Yes, and we handle a lot of these. Book it in your name, tell us who will be on site, and we will keep the whole thing as low-stress as we can.
The books have been in a carport for years. Are they still usable?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Damp Florida air is hard on paper. Open a few boxes and smell them. If there is a strong musty odor or visible spotting, keep those separate and see our cannot take page. We would rather look and say yes than turn away a whole load.
Do you serve Seminole, Pinellas Park and Indian Rocks Beach?
Yes, all of them, along with the rest of Pinellas County.
