Estate Book Pickup in Trinity, FL
Clearing a house takes as long as it takes. We collect the whole library from Trinity at no cost, on your timescale, and we do the carrying.
What an estate pickup in Trinity involves
Clearing a house is not the same job as dropping a few boxes at a thrift store, and it does not run to the same clock. An estate collection is usually the reading of one lifetime: reference books nobody prints any more, a run of hardbacks bought new, forty years of paperbacks. We take the whole library rather than picking through it and leaving the family with the remainder to deal with.
We do this across Trinity and the surrounding Pasco County, including Heritage Springs, Trinity Oaks, Fox Wood and Champions Club.
Take the time you need
Most estate calls we get are from someone part way through a house who has reached the shelves. There is no hurry from our end. If you need three weeks, take three weeks. If there is a closing date on the calendar and you need us before it, say so on the form and we will work to it.
You box what you can, and we carry everything from wherever it is standing. We bring the people and the vehicle. What we do not bring is packing materials, so grocery-store banana boxes and liquor-store boxes are worth collecting in advance, and they are usually free for the asking.
Booking an estate collection in Trinity
It does not have to be books. Alongside them we take DVDs, music CDs, audiobooks on CD, cassette tapes, video games, board games and puzzles, which saves you sorting a media cabinet into piles.
Trinity is on our Monday route, and an ordinary collection rides on that round. An estate is often bigger than a route stop, and for those we keep Wednesdays clear for a dedicated trip anywhere in the three counties. We call you to book a time rather than giving you a wide window.
Trinity is close enough to our office that we can often be flexible about the day, and close enough that dropping off yourself is a real alternative if you would rather not wait for the round.
Whatever we can sell goes on the tables at our monthly $1 book sale, and that sale raises money for the Friends of South Holiday Library, a few minutes away. That is the short version of where a Trinity collection ends up.
We work out of New Port Richey, so Trinity is one of the first stops of the day, minutes from our office. That also makes dropping off yourself a realistic option if you would rather not wait for a route day, and there is no minimum and no appointment for a drop-off.

Book a free Trinity pickup
Do you charge for an estate book pickup in Trinity?
No. Pickup is free, including estate collections. We make our money on what we are able to resell, which is why we would rather take the whole library than cherry-pick the good shelves and leave you the rest.
The house is empty and I cannot be there. Can you still collect?
Yes. Leave the boxes somewhere sheltered, a garage, a covered porch or inside with a code, and put the details in the notes box on the form. On a normal Monday route we collect any time between 8am and 8pm. For a booked Wednesday trip we agree the time with you first.
There are boxes in the garage that have been there for years. Are those any use?
Often yes, and it is worth us looking. The main thing that rules books out is moisture damage, mould or insects, and that is a judgement we can make quickly on the day. Nothing is wasted by asking.
What if I am not sure what is even there?
That is the normal situation, not an unusual one. Give us a rough number of shelves or boxes on the form, and photographs help a lot. Email them to pickups@tampabaybookpickup.com after you send the form.
